Professional Exchange  Research & Dam Study Tour

The study focus on Sanxia (Three Gorges Gongcheng) construction project (TGP), the largest dam in history. The gigantic project serves as a multi-purpose hydro-development project producing comprehensive benefits mainly in flood control, power generation and navigation improvement of the Yangtze River, This multi-purpose project attracts worldwide attention with the largest hydropower station in the world (181M, capacity of 18,200 MW) to be installed. This project was started in 1993.
The TGP will have far-reaching geographical, geological, ecological, agricultural, archeological, sociological, economical, political and military effects. Many aspects related mainly to China, locally and globally, well never be being the same again after its completed in 2009. 
This program will give participant lectures on TGP's protection of environment, ecology and cultural relics, and history of TGP with lessons on emigration (relocation) and shipping, visit the constructing site in Sanduoping as well.

Day01, Arrive Yichang, transfer to the TGP (Three Gorges Dam Project) Reception Center hotel (Project hotel) for night. (D)
Day02, Pick you up from your hotel, and transfer to visit the  Three Gorges Dam area: visit the 5-grade Ship Lock with expert introduction, E185 Terrace, Tanziling to view the entire project, visit Memory Park to understand the history of TGP construction, to understand the Spillway, Cofferdam, Diversion Channel etc, visit the Power House with expert introduction, the Top of the Dam if available, overnight in Project hotel.(B/L/D)
Day03, Lectures by professor or expert (or interview with expert) for 2 hours in the morning, and academic communications among the participants for 1-2 hours in the morning, in the afternoon visit Zigui - the new relocation county for Migration project with immigrant official introduction, overnight in Project hotel. (B/L/D)
Day04, Lectures by professor or expert (or interview with expert) for 2 hours in the morning, and academic communications among the participants for 1-2 hours in the morning,  then to visit Gezhouba dam with expert introduction: Power House, Ship lock, in the late afternoon, overnight in Project Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day05, Drive to visit Qingjiang Dam or the river bank & slope of Yangtze River, then see you off at a'port in the afternoon. (B/L)
Note: please view Technical & practical lectures and academic interest or specialization or professions   (some study tour with it) for reference in your lectures (some lectures will be held in other city if necessary, if so, the  itinerary will be adjusted).
 

Quotation: 780USD for your group of 6-9 participants; 640USD/p.p. for your group of 10 participants and over. If your group under 6 persons, then just e-mail us for quotation.
Included: meals marked, accommodation in marked hotel or similar one, private transfer and transportation by coach, English speaking guide service, entrance fee for sightseeing, permit to TGP, and permit to Power House and Ship Lock, expert introduction marked, official introduction in Zigui, lectures marked by professors or interview with expert, tour body insurance.

1, Please tell us the numbers of participants in your group, rough itinerary or schedule or the tour code your prefer to, as well as any other arrangement in China.
2, The date your prefer to, as well as the date and flight with time of both departure and arrival in China..
3, Tell us for all members: full name, birth of date, sex, nationality or citizenship, passport number, academic qualifications (academic professions or specialization), present position, occupation, the company name of your working or the institute name of your study, full working address.
4, Introduction to the organizer and the organization company such as name, address, basic information and introduction, professional industry and academic professions, president name, full contacting information.
5, Tell us: your objective and request for this dam study tour, your interesting and specialization, any questions or outline of questions you plan to inquiry.
6, Any other information if necessary. Then we will arrange the permit.
7, Once the tour available with permit, then we will inform you to bank wire full payment to the account of our Corp,; after your payment has reached into our account, we will make re-confirmation to you on this reservation, and mail you the tour and visiting arrangement.
8, If the valid tour reservation is cancelled by your side for any reason: then 100USD/p.p. is not refundable if your cancellation made from 45days prior to the date of your arrival China;  30% of full payment (tour cost) is not refundable if your cancellation made from 30days prior to the date of your arrival China;  50% of full payment (tour cost) is not refundable if your cancellation made from 20days prior to the date of your arrival China;  100% of full payment (tour cost) is not refundable if your cancellation made from 10days prior to the date of your arrival China, as well as cancellation made while touring.
9, All tours subject to be change and adjusted if necessary.
10, Some place special the core part will be not allowed to take picture; We keep the right to adjust even cancel this program if necessary for either the Dam Construction or the reason of National Secure.
