China Grand Canal Boat Cruise tour to Enjoy Scenery in Hangzhou Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou Zhenjiang

China Grand Canal is one of the greatest projects constructed in ancient China, famous for its oldest and longest canal in the world, begins from Beijing and ends at Hangzhou, so called Jinghang Dayunhe in Chinese, with its own 1795Km long and 24locks and about 60 bridges. The Grand Canal communicating Yangtze River, Yellow River, Huaihe River, Haihe River and Qiantang River, flows through Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. In ancient China, the Grand Canal plays and important role to connect river systems for navigation between the north and south in China, promote the economic and cultural exchange and strengthening the unification of the country.

Till now, almost in each city along the Grand Canal, they developed its own city river boat cruise, such as in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Zhenjiang etc.

This tour will be take boars along the Grand Canal in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province to enjoy the canal scenery.

Day01, Shanghai-Yangzhou, overnight in Yangzhou.
Day02, Old town visiting and visit the Grand Canal by either bus or boat.
Day03, Arrive Zhenjiang, city tour, and visit the cross point mouth of Yangtze and the Grand Canal.
Day04, Arrive Changzhou, take city boat to view the Grand Canal.
Day05, Changzhou - Wuxi by chartered boat, overnight in Wuxi.
Day06, Visit old town and Taihu Lake.
Day07, Wuxi - Suzhou by chartered boat, overnight in Suzhou.
Day08, Visit the old town, and city tour in Suzhou.
Day09, Take boat to Wujiang, overnight in Wujiang.
Day10, Take boat to Jiaxin, city tour in Jiaxin.
Day11, Take bus to Hangzhou.
Day12, Hangzhou city tour.
Day13, Hangzhou-Shanghai.
Day14, Departure from Shanghai.

This tour is not available by boat due to the land road developed, unless you plan to pay much expensive to hire boat, section by section..
