Tour Itinerary (Chongqing - Yichang down stream) 4days

Day01, Board boat at 18:00, boat depart at 21:00. overnigth in boat.
Day02, 07:00-10:00 Visit Fengdu; 20:00-23:00 Vist Zhangfei Temple. overnight in boat.
Day03, 06:30-09:00 optional excursion to visit Baidicheng, about 10:00 pass through Qutang gorge, at about 12:00 arrive Wushan, then take a small boat to visit The Small Three Gorges. 17:00 boat pass through Wu gorge, about 22:00 arrive Jiuwanxi, overnight in boat.
Day04, 06:30-08:30 optonal excursion to visit Jiuwanxi stream, 09:30 arrive Taiping or Maoping port for excrustion to visit Three Gorges Dam (185m Terrace, Memorial park etc), then bus drive to Yichang, arrive Yichang at about 16:00, service ends.

Downstream Tour Itinerary from Chongqing to Yichang 3days

Day01, At about 15:00 departure from Chaotianmen to Liangping by coach, and visit Shuanggui Temple in Liangping, and then coach drive to Wanzhou for boarding boat, boat depart from Wanzhou port at about 23:00, overnight in boat.
Day02, Boat begins the passage of Qutang Gorge at 06:30, arrive Wushan at about 08:00, then small boat for  excursion to Little Three Gorges and Dachang Town (about 6 hour visiting) , then boat leave at 14:00 around from Wushan port into Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks; Optional excursion to Shennv Stream (Shennv Mountain Peak) for about 2 hours; at about 23:00 boat arrive in Jiuwanxi Stream area, overnight in boat.
Day03, Excursion to Jiuwanxi Stream at 08:00. And at about 13:00 arrive Taipingxi Port or Maoping Port, then coach for excursion to visit Three Gorges Dam for about 1 hour, then coach to Yichang and arrive Yichang at about 16:00 or later as 19:00, service ends.
(Day04, If back to Chongqing, then boat arrive Wanzhou at about 13:00, then take bus back to Chongqing, and arrival Chongqing at about 16:00 )

Day02, View Wuxia (Wu) Gorge, and excursion  to Shennongxi Stream or Small Three Gorges along Daning River in the morning, view Qutanxia (Qutan) Gorge, overnight in boat.
Day03, Excursion to Fengdu in the afternoon, overnight in boat.
Day04, Arrive Chongqing at about 08:00 (you can take half day sightseeing tour in Chongqing when the boat arrive Chongqing, cost extra 20USD/p.p., as well as extra cost 40USD/p.p. for 2 hours excursion to the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang).

If take half day private tour to visit the Dam in Yichang, then cost extra 60USD/p.p. extra: pick you up from your hotel or train station, transfer to visit the Dam 2 hours sightseeing, then drive to the Port for boarding boat. Private car + private English speaking guide + entrance fee. Minimum 2 persons.

 

Yichang - Fengjie - Yichang by economic boat
Day01, At about 17:00 take bus to Taipingxi pier for boarding boat in Yichang, and boat depart at 21:00, overnight in boat.
Day02, Day excursion to Shennongxi or excursion to Small Three Gorges; at about 18:00 arrive Fengjie for visiting Baidicheng, overnight in boat.
Day03, Boat entering the Xiling Gorge, excursion to Jiuwanxi, then boat arrive Taiping or Maoping Port, take bus to visit Three Gorges Dam area, and at about 16:00 back to Yichang, service ends.

About the Economic Boat.
The service in the boat just so-so, about 12m² for each cabin, and about 200-600 passengers capacity for each boat.
And there about 80-90 economic boats belongs to 11 various Boat Corps, and the accurate boat for certain date navigation will be assigned by the River Navigation Administration, and we can't make sure which boat will falls on your trip date. The best series boats as Jiangshan series boats (12 boats), Yangtze Guanguang series boats (11 boats), Oriental series boats (4 boats), Hainei Guanguang series (4boats) etc.
